When looking for new clothes, stores, whether it be online or in a store, don’t always carry the right size. If you are not “standard size” it can be incredibly hard to find something that fits and feels comfortable. There are typically fewer plus or petite sizes which makes for fewer options, especially in women’s clothes.
I have experienced this in my own life, finding clothes that fit. I remember a few years ago while shopping for tennis shoes, we spent hours trying to find wide shoes in my size. Or clothes that are the right length but also not to loose or tight. Even trying to find something as simple as a Halloween costume that fits and is not sexualized can be incredibly difficult.
Plus and petite sizes are more common than society puts it and should be recognized and accepted as normal.
